Renaat Ramon

Renaat Ramon ist ein belgischer Dichter, Essayist und Bildhauer, der

in der schönen Stadt Brügge lebt. Er ist vor allem für seine monumentalen

Skulpturen, konstruktivistischen Installationen, Schmuck- und Möbeldesign

sowie Architekturprojekte bekannt. Obwohl Ramon als Bildhauer ein Anhänger

des Konstruktivismus und der geometrischen Abstraktion ist, ist er ein

Bewunderer der „edlen Einfachheit und stillen Größe“ (J. Winckelmann)

der klassischen Kunst.

 

Renaat Ramon

Renaat Ramon is a Belgian poet, essayist and sculptor, based in the

beautiful city of Bruges. He is primarily known for his monumental

sculptures, constructivist installations, jewelry and furniture design

and architectural projects. Although Ramon, as a sculptor, is an adept

of constructivism and geometric abstraction, he is an admirer of

the “noble simplicity and quiet grandeur” (J. Winckelmann) of classical art.
