Die Bildhauerin Ann Vrielinck (1966) wurde unweit der schönen Stadt Brügge in Belgien geboren.
Sie studierte Bildende Kunst an der Akademie der Schönen Künste in Brügge und erwarb später
einen akademischen Abschluss in Malerei an der Sint-Lucas School of Arts in Gent. Vrielincks
Kunstwerke sind Momentaufnahmen des menschlichen Körpers in Bewegung und der
Kommunikation und Interaktion zwischen Menschen. Die Gesichter von Anns Skulpturen
sind kaum definiert, was den universellen Charakter der Werke verstärkt und beim Betrachter
ein größeres Gefühl der Identifikation hervorruft.

The sculptor Ann Vrielinck (1966) was born not far from the beautiful city of Bruges, Belgium.
She studied Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges and later obtained an academic
degree in Painting at the Sint-Lucas School of Arts in Ghent. Vrielinck’s art pieces are snapshots
of the human body in motion and of the communication and interaction between humans.
The faces of Ann’s sculptures are barely defined, which enhances the universal character of the
pieces and arouses a greater sense of identification in the viewer.
